INVITATION TO OPEN UP TO THE SPIRIT OF CREATIVITY

Do you want a more creative life? Are you ready to deepen your spiritual journey through creativity? We hope that you will join a four-session group which will be discussing and working through a book entitled, The Artist’s Way, written by Julia Cameron. Cameron presents in her book the idea that creative expression is the natural direction of life. If we are able to rediscover our creativity, then we are able to recover from what blocks us in life such as limiting beliefs, fear, self-sabotage, jealousy, guilt, addictions, and other inhibiting forces, replacing them with artistic confidence and productivity. This group is open for all whether you think of yourself as an artist or not.

The book is written to help people learn:

   •  Why they procrastinate and what to do about it

   •  Why their creativity was stifled and how to reclaim it

   •  How to deal with criticism

   •  How to overcome perfectionism

   •  How to reclaim the joy of creative play

Linking creativity to spirituality, the group will help participants connect with the creative energy of God in our lives. If you would like to join us, please put the following dates on your calendar:

Saturday, February 13, 10:00-11:30 a.m. Introduction to the book and group guidelines
