Our young church families gather together for a variety of events that range from fellowship to mission. We like supporting each other as we raise our children so that we can grow stronger in our community and our faith.

UPCOMING EVENTS FOR YOUNGER FAMILIES

SLEDDING PARTY

On Saturday, February 13 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. all families with children in the home are invited to a sledding party at Doug and Wendy Daniszewski’s home at 10 Adams Street in Batavia. Please bring your snow tube or sled for this fun event. We will have hog dogs and drinks. Please bring a dish to pass. There will be a snowman making contest. Feel free to bring your own decorations. Children of all ages are welcome. We hope for lots of snow on that day, as this will be our second attempt to have this party! R.S.V.P. by calling Wendy at 343-4206.

FAITH PRACTICES IN THE HOME FOR LENT & EASTER

On Sunday, February 21, at 9:30 a.m., parents/grandparents with children in the home will be meeting in the church parlor to learn and share some faith practices that they can practice in their homes with their children. The phrase “More is caught than taught" is true, especially when it comes to our children and grandchildren. We already have a myriad of family traditions in our homes—we do this without planning. However, becoming a bit more intentional will make our family traditions even better. In order for this season to be filled with meaning, fun and faith for our children, Pastor Roula will be teaching this class to help us find new ways to help us connect our children with the stories of Lent and Easter. We hope that you will be able to join us for this class.
